Flextronics and Ericsson Sign Agreement to Provide Network Services In the United States and Canada

SINGAPORE, Dec. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Flextronics International Ltd. (Nasdaq: FLEX), a world-class electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider focused on delivering end to end solutions to original equipment manufacturers, and Ericsson (Nasdaq: ERICY), today announced that they have entered into a contractual agreement for the provision of network services throughout the United States and Canada. Under the terms of the agreement, Flextronics Network Services, a business unit of Flextronics International, will provide Ericsson a full complement of network services, including, but not limited to, network engineering, site acquisition and construction, network deployment, network maintenance and program management.

Ericsson has selected Flextronics Network Services as one of their key suppliers to help meet the growing demand for fast rollout of wireless networks in North America. The agreement is part of Ericsson's strategy for leadership in 3G, and the continued outsourcing of non-core activities to world-class partners.
